Dr. Richard Moon is a political outsider, father, successful small businessman, and community pharmacist from right here in our area.
Rich was born and raised in Buffalo. He worked his way through college, and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from State University of New York in Buffalo before receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy from Shenandoah University.
Rich practiced as a pharmacist for several years in the area for a Liverpool company before opening his own practice. When he became a pharmacist, Rich’s primary goal was to help people. He has had the amazing opportunity to do just that all across our community. His work has centered around providing quality, affordable pharmaceutical care. He has also worked to expand rural access to health care. Through hard work and compassion, he expanded his own business to include six locations across the United States.
Service above self is a way of life for Rich Moon. Rich raised his two daughters right here in our community, where he volunteered as a swim coach among other activities. He also spent eight years as a volunteer member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for Carroll, New York.
In 2002, Rich established the Chautauqua Regional Scholarship Fund to aid local pharmacy school students.
Rich knows that Washington politicians aren’t doing their job by everyday Americans. He’s running to bring a fresh, conservative perspective to Congress: limiting spending and making government work are his top priorities. It’s time to get the insiders out of Washington.
